JBE Song Featured in End-of-Year Filmstrip link to this story »
Remember back in 2004 when Filmstrip International made that highly political web video that featured JBE's song, Asshole? Well, they're back and this time with a very funny end-of-the year video that features New Lang Syne (Thank God It's Over).
We wrote that song back in 2001 for an NPR segment, but it's amazing how strongly it resonates today.

Jim Interviewed on NPR's Weekend Edition - 12/28/08 link to this story »
Tune into your local NPR radio station to hear Jim talk with Weekend Edition's Liane Hansen about free* - the new JBE release.
From NPR:
Weekend Edition Sunday, December 28, 2008 - New Year's Eve is coming, and many folks will don fancy clothes, head out to a party and lose themselves in revelry. But not Jim Infantino.
"I believe that I'm going to go to a good friend's house," he says. "She's a photographer, and she throws great parties. And I'll probably stand around and have very little to say."
Infantino and his Boston-based band, Jim's Big Ego, chronicle the finer points of social ineptitude on a new song "I (Don't Know How To) Party." It's one of the tracks on the band's new album, free*.
Infantino spoke with Liane Hansen about the album, which contains a fake award acceptance speech, employs Fenway Park organist Josh Kantor and reiterates the group's (presumably facetious) claim to be "the Greatest Band in the History of Recorded Music" — just Google it.
"This is all the evidence I need," Infantino says.
