Yes, it's sad but true. We were just informed that our performance at the House of Blues on Saturday, September 13th has been cancelled. We had every assurance that the show would go on despite their closing the next day. So, of course we were disappointed to get the call.

Instead, we will be playing our CD release party outside, under the stars, free to the public, somewhere in Harvard Square, sometime around 8pm. We call it a "Flash Party."

Come one, come all! We are determined to have a blast!

If you bought a ticket to the HOB through Ticketmaster, they should have already refunded the credit card you used. If you bought a ticket to the HOB at the Lizard Lounge, please bring it to us on Saturday and we will either give you a cd   $1 or your money back.

COME CELEBRATE THE RELEASE OF OUR NEW CD - and prove one thing to the world about egomaniacs - "THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!"

I first came to Boston to play in the subways and on the street in Harvard Square. I chose this town because of the beautiful and crazy street musicians that play outside in spring summer and late into the fall. It's where I met Chris Chandler, Catie Curtis, Mary Lou Lord, Chris Bellew, Blue Video Blue, and dozens of other musicans I grew to admire.

So it seems fitting that we will be out there playing for our cd release. We have planned to fill the day with street musicians who will be playing in our spot all day. Come early and see some of them play!

Well, it's the moment you've all been patiently waiting for...  Jim's Big Ego is proud to announce the release of their fourth studio CD:

THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!

Produced by JBE and Ducky Carlisle, the new disc features 12 delectable JBE tracks including "Lucky," "Mix Tape," "Better Than You" and of course, "They're Everywhere." On top of that, the CD features cover art sketched by legendary comic book artist (and Jim's uncle), Carmine Infantino.  

Starting off, "They're Everywhere!" will only be available for sale at shows. The first place you can get it will be in Harvard Square at the Guerrilla Flash Mob Slash CD Release party: Saturday, September 13th at 8PM. As you may have read, our official cd release party was unilaterally cancelled by the House of Blues in the ninth hour kicking us literally out onto the street. However, we will not let this get us down! We will be out there with bells on somewhwere in Harvard Square. Grab some coffe at Peet's and look for us out there - come and celebrate!
There will be music all day in the spot we choose - from some of our friends who play outside. We will top the evening off at 8PM.
